SUMMER A hiking paradise in summer and fun in the snow from October thru May! Summer highlights include the hike to Oldenhorn peak (3'123 m), the glacier hike from Scex Rouge to Sanetsch Pass and for those daring hikers the fixed rope route to Gemskopf. For a special adrenaline kick, guests can ride on the Alpine Coaster, the world's highest bobsleigh track. The beauty of nature also lies waiting to be discovered in the variety of fauna and flora. WINTER The winter season is from October to May in the only glacier ski area in the Bernese Oberland. Over 24 peaks with an heigth over 4000 m can be seen from the glacier. Both the Restaurant Botta 3000 and the Refuge l'Espace restaurant offer spectacular views. The ski run around the Oldensattel is one of the longest and most challenging runs in the area. The glacier itself offers a large variety of activities for its guests: winter hiking trails, cross-country skiing, a snow park, view points, dog sled rides and the highest bobsleigh track in the world - the Alpine Coaster |
